It’s normal practice in the Roman Catholic Church for two miracles to be attributed to the intercession of a person in heaven before he or she is declared a saint. In the case of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, who was canonized on April 30, 2000, one of the two miracles credited to her intercession was on behalf of Maureen Digan of Massachusetts.
With her husband Bob, Digan spoke in Hamilton to give her account of what happened after she prayed at then-Sister Faustina’s tomb near Krakow, Poland in 1981. It’s a story of love and manifestation a miracle that you won’t want to miss. Tonight, I present part one of a two-part series on the miracle God worked in Digan's life and that supported the canonization of a new saint.
